Santa Ana Unified Providing Free To-Go Meals for Students

Date: May, 13 2020 Category: COVID-19, Notification

(NOTE: The following information is being provided on behalf of Santa Ana Unified School District.)

Due to the closure of SAUSD schools from March 16 to April 10, the District’s Nutrition Services has transitioned to a multiday meal service model. SAUSD is now distributing to-go meals two days per week.

• On Mondays, SAUSD will be serving two breakfasts and two lunches (to cover Monday and Tuesday.)
• On Wednesdays, SAUSD will be serving three breakfasts and three lunches (to cover Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.)

These meals are FREE Grab N’ Go breakfast and lunch meals for all children ages 1-18 that will be available for pick-up at any of the 13 school sites from 8-11 a.m.

The goal is to limit the amount of time families need to leave their homes for nutrition.
